There are some fundamental aspects that have involuntarily guided me and my decisions. I don’t like to sound like the high priest of life’s principles, but I abide by these to be honest. And I am inspired by those who live by these and are guardians of these values. I like being and being with those who are:
Free
Fair
Forthright
I value freedom, almost fight to protect it more than anything else, I drift naturally towards things that let me be. I am driven by fairness, though I sometimes think it is a weakness, because it makes me a little less competitive. That said if freedom is my constant pursuit then fairness has always been my path. Fairness and justice is an aspect that has stayed true since all these years of my life. And speaking of being true, I culminate my set of guiding lights with honesty and forthrightness. A trait I greatly admire, I judge people on the breadth of their honesty. I have found myself lacking in this often – in being forthright than being honest, however I consider this a habit as much as a value and try to improve on this every day.
